不过只能在FreeBSD 5.0-RELEASE以上的版本才能编译。是作为FreeBSD的核心可加载模块运行的。
cvsup更新ports树以后，/usr/ports/security/pf/
下面就是了，压缩后的源代码仅有900多K。
支持authpf用户认证，支持altq带宽限制。
