21.10.2002, 17:00 The next generation is on its way! Everybody is talking about UMTS for a while, but now the first phone of the next generation is out and ready to rock. The U10 will be launched in New York, it’s a colour screen mobile phone suitable for the both the networks of today and the future UMTS networks. The phone, a first result of the technical collaboration with Motorola, will help the operators build and test the networks of tomorrow. And the phone truly represents the future: Via MMS and E mail it sends video clips, melodies, images as fast and easy as never before. High speed internet access allows data streaming at up to 384kbs. The U10 can be connected via USB, Bluetooth or infrared with laptops and other peripheral devices. The U10 also supports video streaming with file formats as MPEG-4, or MP3 and AAC.
