Amy 伸手按熄了闹钟，赶紧跳下床，匆匆梳洗。然后精心化一个淡妆，穿上一套大方文雅的套裙。在镜子前照了照，满意地抿了抿嘴。还蛮象个白领丽人嘛！看不出一个月前，还是大学青涩校园里一个腼腆小女生呢。
凭着流利的英语，Amy顺利地在一家外资公司找到了待遇好的工作。可是高薪也意味着更高的挑战，Amy决心全力以赴。首先，必须掌握好外语。Amy明白，作为外企职员，良好的外语能力是日后升迁的资本。
公司正在布置一个商展。Amy的顶头上司美国人Jason在摊位上发号司令。
“These are catalogue and pamphlets of our company’s products， please put them on the left side of the counter。”
——这些是我们公司的产品目录和宣传品，请将它们放在柜台的左侧。
“Please sort these products and write down their brands on sheets of card-board。”
——请将这些产品归类，并在硬纸板上写下品牌名称。
“Please put the model on the display shelf。”
——请把模型放在展示架上。
“Please stick a piece of paper saying NO TOUCH on the glass counter。”
——请在玻璃柜上贴一张“请勿触摸”的条子。
“Let buyers leave their telephone numbers and addresses on the notebook。”
——让客户们在登记本上留下联络电话和地址。
Amy 连忙一一照办。Jason还没有忘记叮嘱：
“Remember to give our buyers your smiling face。”
——接待客户时要记得面带微笑。
Amy微笑着答应道：“You can count on me。”
——请放心。
