当然越多越好. 考CCNA一个也够了,没有也行, 得把Todd Lammle的
书看透.
What kind of a lab do I need for CCNA and CCIE?
---------------------------------------------------------
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA):
Two Cisco 2500 series routers. It is better to get two 2501s as they a
re the best for the CCNA as well as CCIE study.
The two routers should be running Cisco IOS 11.3 and if possible shoul
d be enterprise version. Although one would be using on IP and IPX for
attaining CCNA, I suggest the Enterprise version, as it will be helpf
ul for CCIE. You can't do AppleTalk related exercises in case you have
IP and IPX version running on of your router.
One Female DCE Cable V.35
One Male DTE Cable V.35
Two console cables and adapters (Come along with Cisco routers by defa
ult)
Two Ethernet Transceivers
All routers should have 16 Megs’ memory to hold the 11.3 Enterpr
ise version. In case you plan to go for IP and IPX only feature set, a
router with 8 Megs of memory should be pretty good enough.
The above list of equipment should be great for the CCNA Exam. Thanks
to Tom Thomas [email protected] for providing this information. I
did some editing on the feature set version.
Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE):
These equipment are in addition with the CCNA equipment.
One Cisco 2509 router. This will be helpful to set up reverse telnet.
One Cisco 3620 with:
NM-1FE-TX fast Ethernet module
NM-1E1R2W i.e. One Ethernet, One Token Ring and 2 WAN slots.
WIC-IB-U i.e. One ISDN with NT-1
One 2521. This is Token Ring, four port serial ISDN router.
One ISDN emulator.
One 2924XL Switch. Yes, it would be great if you get hold of a Cat5K b
ut a 2924XL should be enough. You can work on VLANs related topics wit
h help of this switch.
1 CAB-OCTAL-ASYNC. This is 8 lead octal cable (68 pin to 8 male RJ-45s
)
Please note that all routers should have 16 Megs of memory to hold the
11.3 Enterprise Version.
