Yundi Li Piano Recital 2002 李雲迪2002演奏會 9:30p.m.
The judges of the 14th Chopin International Competition were amazed by the balance in Yundi Li's playing between exceptionally fertile imagination and impeccable technique. The 18-year-old pianist was not only the youngest champion ever in the history of the competition but also the first Chinese to win this accolade. Li's success in the competition has brought him numerous invitations to perform in Asia, Europe and the USA. At the summer of 2002, he was invited to perform over 20 concerts in various cities of Japan. This program is the live concert from Tokyo on August 2, in which showcase Li's renowned interpretation of the music of Chopin and Liszt.
