dear larry, well, yesterday i received urs. firstly,
that question was from tw, he didn't ask others to correct

First of all, I think most probably the word " great" should be
"greater", so that it sounds parallel with the more in the first
part of this sentence.
The more..., the greater... is a idiomatic expression in English.
