all my friends on the web, recently i read
the following essay. it was from 青年报 1-5-98. i
think it is good. i hope my friends spending a little
time to read it. u see our boards are relative free-

尽管我仍然是人类的一分子，但是我不再只是人类
的一分子了。 虽然我还是像一只蚂蚁一样渺小，但是
大象死了，或者说，那头最大最虚幻的大象死了。
我们再也不用蒙着眼睛去摸它，它也不会来踩我们。
这么说，并不意味着我是一个纯粹的个人主义者、
一个妄图卸脱责任的反历史主义者、一个妄图脱离集体
的自由分子。
没有薪水，我肯定不干活，但这并不意味着我就是
一个惟利是图的小人。 薪水并不是全部，但是没有了
它我会饿死; 同样，作为个体的存在并不是我的全部
生活，但是没有了它我肯定会闷死。
