这方面知识而不甚了了。现慢慢介绍一二。
(6) caviar to the general
( 阳春白雪，曲高和寡 )
语出莎士比亚著名悲剧 << 哈姆雷特>> 第二幕第二场。
直译是:“不合一般人口味的鱼子酱”又作“ caviar to the
multitude”。 现在“caviar to the general”作为常用
成语收入辞书，广泛应用。
e.g. though more popular than it used to be,
( 这出歌剧虽比过去的歌剧通俗些，但依然是
the opera is still caviar to the general.
