How long would spring flowers and autumn moon last?
How much can I recall events of the past?
Last night the wind from the east
blew again into my small room upstairs.
I simply could not bear to look back on my native land
under the moon so bright and fair.
I imagine carved railings and marble stairs
should still be there.
Only women's faces have changed by far.
You ask me how many sorrows I have in my heart at least.
