放假回来查看信箱,惊喜的是stoa竟然有新信到,原本以为他老人家不肯
理俺了呢.可惜只是回答了我众多问题中的几个...稍遗憾!

sorry for waiting so long for the interview but here it is.

i want to know some thing new about you and stoa ,such as when do
your new opus issue?
- STOA has now a recasting. Conny left STOA and Antje Buchheiser is the new
singer. And we have a cellist now. her name is Christiane Fischer and they are
both absolutly fantastic.
we had some concerts and this experience was really great. normally i磎
sitting alone at home and compose do some interviews but i don磘 had a real
response for my work. but to perform live is completly different. the response
comes directly from the hearts of the people and it was a breathtaking. for
example we played in a old monument in leipzig which is 85metres high and
around 100years old. we had there a chorus who sung renaissance songs and some
songs i composed. the time while we played the response was soft and we
thought the people disliked our concert. but after a while we had seen that
the people were so much moved by the atmosphere so they dont wanted to disturb
the "holy" mood. it was unbelievable!
when you are child, you was a memeber of the Stadtsingechor Halle,
could you tell me some history about that?
- i was a member between the 9th and the 14th year of my life. but they kicked
me out of the chorus because i was to excentric for a classical chorus. at
this time looked like a punk. but the leader of the chorus at this time is now
the leader of an other chorus and i rented them for my concert in leipzig. we
have now a really good relationship but as i was 14 i would never thought in
this.
you say the you doesnt invovled the dark wave, so, how do you
define your music?
- i cannot describe my music. the only definition i have for it is me. its my
soul that is breathing in the music.
i hear someone said you are studing philosophy, can you tell me
something about it? how do you think the relationship of the philosophy
and your music? can i say that: your music is the the represent of
your philosophy idea?
- it is like this. the name STOA comes from the stoicism which is one the most
important ancient philosophies. names like marc aurel or spinoza stand for it.
i feel like a stoic or better i want to be like one.
yes, you said you only contact the"normal" world, but there is still
a lot of difference between stoa and "normal" pop music, so can you tell
me what affect you to do this music? estheticism or the classic music?
bach and mozart?...
- as i said my music is a mirror of myself. and like everything is affecting
me it affects my music too. influences are books, films, thoughts, people, a
walk ... the whole life that surrounds me. musical influences are important
too. but i磎 listening to almost every kind of music. from rachmaninoff over
portishead, bach, prodigy, filmmusic ...
the miracle of life is the influence for my work.
