部分)”(Late Home Tonight, Part II)的观点是士兵个人并没有看到他们发泄怒
火的破坏，士兵“在军事生涯的美丽保障中，没有对或错”(Secure in the bea
uty of military life/There is no right or wrong)士兵被与他们屠杀的人民

电视通过性——“游泳衣贴在她身上”(Way the swimsuit sticks to her
skin)和罪行——“……看到儿童流血”(...see the children bleed)让我们对
暴力迷惑而对其麻木，“看到儿童流血，这在电视里看起来很棒。”只以美学价
值看待死亡。“今夜晚回家(第二部分)”说的是士兵在回家的时候被怎样对待—
—他将受到英雄般的待遇。在“今夜晚回家(第一部分)”中“一些伟大的图画正
