24. Can you sell yourself in two minutes？ Go for it. （你能在兩分鐘內自我推荐嗎？大膽試試吧！）
A： With my qualifications and experience, I feel I am hardworking, responsible and diligent in any project I undertake. Your organization could benefit from my analytical and interpersonal skills.
(依我的資格和經驗，我覺得我對所從事的計畫很努力，負責而勤勉。我的分析能力和與人相處的技巧，對貴單位必有好處。)
25. What do you find frustrating in a work situation？(在工作裡，什麼事令你不高興？)
A： Sometimes, the narrow-minded people make me frustrated. (胸襟狹窄的人，有時使我洩氣。)
含蓄些，也就是：
Minds that are not receptive to new ideas. (不能接受新思想的那些人)
(Minds 就是指 those whose minds)
26. How did your personal responsibility increase with the years？(你如何以年資增加你的責任？)
A： I have been given more people to supervise that add more responsibility throughout my years of services.
(多年來，我所督導的員工越多，我的責任也就越大了。)
談到薪水問題，往往較為尷尬，所以必須小心回答，以免弄巧成拙。
27. 通常老外會問：
What range of pay-scale are you interested in？(你喜歡那一種的薪水層次標準？)
A： 如果你沒有其他 job offer，那麼可以「蓋仙」一下：
Money is important, but the responsibilty that goes along with this job is what interests me the most.
(金錢固然重要，但這工作伴隨而來的責任更吸引我。)
也有老外直截了當地問：
How much money are you currently making？
只好老實地回答：
I am currently earning ＄35,000 per year plus benefits.
(目前我的年薪是三萬五加福利)
如果是小公司，有時可以「討價還價」，但是大公司或公家機關，對員工薪水，多半都是明文規定，很難更改。如果你覺得薪水太低，希望稍為增加，那麼可以說：
Due to my current experience, I feel I am ready for a more challenging position.
(根據我目前的經驗，我感到自己可以擔任較有挑戰性的工作。)
或者說：
I feel I am not progressing in my present position. （我感到我目前的職位，沒有什麼進展。)
(以上兩句，雖然沒有提到薪水，但如能得到較好職位，薪水也就增多了。)
Would you accept an offer of ＄25,000 a year? (你能接受年薪兩萬五千嗎？)
假如你有家眷，也可以說：
To be frank and open with you, I like this job,but I have a family with two children.
(老實坦誠地說，我喜歡這份工作，不過我有兩個孩子要負擔。)
或
I think the pay seems to be inadequate for a family of four.
(我想這種薪水對一家四口似乎不夠)
假如亟需一份工作，只好接受較低年薪，那麼還可以說：
I am eager to assume the responsibility of this job. Howsoon will my salary (或 job performance) be reviewed（或 adjusted) if I accept your offer?
(我很想承擔這份工作的責任。如果我接受這份薪水，那麼要多久，我的薪水才會調整。)
28. 有時老外對老中，也會問些這樣的問題：
What do you like about America？（你對美國的觀感如何？）
A： 可以輕描淡寫的說：
America is so vast and diverse that invites me to explore it. If you are willing to work hard, then the opportunity abounds.
(美國是個遼闊無垠，豐富多元的國家，它使我有實地探究的機會，如果你工作努力，那麼機會倒不少。)
29. What was hard to adjust to when you first came to the U. S.？
(你初來美國時所面臨的難處是什麼？)
A： First I have to overcome the language barrier, and then I need to get used to the different culture and ways of thinking.
(首先我必須克服語言上的困難，其次我要對不同文化和想法加以適應。)
30. If you could have one wish granted, what would it be？(假定你有個願望，那該是什麼呢？)
A： I wish there would be no (more) racial prejudice in the world. (我盼望世界上沒有種族偏見)
或
I wish all nations would treat one another equally and fairly with respect. (我盼望所有國家都能彼此尊敬，平等合理相待。）
下面是面試者的一些注意事項：(Tips for interviewees：)
Know something about the organization you are applying to. (瞭解一些你申請工作單位的情形)
Dress properly. Don't shake hand with the interviewer until he/she extends his/her hand. (穿著要得體。人家伸手時，才握手。)
Don't sit down until invited to do so by the interviewer. (人家未請，先別坐下。)
Make eye-contact with the interviewer during the interview. (面試時，眼睛要看著對方。)
Listen actively and stay calm. (注意聽，保持冷靜。)
If invited to a meal, be especially careful about your table manners. (被邀吃飯時，要特別注意餐桌禮節。)
(申請專業工作，多半都會被請吃飯。)
Don't talk with your mouth full. (嘴裡有食物，不可開口說話。)
Don't make much noise while you eat. (吃東西不要出聲音)
Don't blow your nose or use the toothpick at table. (不要擤鼻涕或用牙籤剔牙)
Don't appear to be pushy or overly anxious to get a job.（不必過份表現急著要工作)
Be honest but not too modest.（要誠實，但不必太謙虛。)
Don't put yourself down or cut yourself up. (不可妄自菲薄或自貶) (即 self-abasement)
Try to avoid discussing politics or religion with your interviewer. (避免與面試人談政治或宗教)
