Stretching and grunting,I strained my arms as I pushed myself through the dirt.Finally I was in the sunlight .Breathing in some of the crisp air,I felt the warm sunshine on my body.I wxtended my legs.My small toes grabbed the dirt.If I was going to stay here I knew I needed a strong hold in the ground.Fanning my arms open,I pushed gently my shaggy yellow hair up.Standing tall and proud I knew I was beautiful.
Looking around me I saw many others of my kind.Closing my eyes I decided to rest.My great stuggle had taken a lot of my energy away.As the sun started to set I became nervous.After all,this was going to be my first night alone.My hopes picked up as an elderly lady stepped up to me.I was really thirsty and wanted a drink.She started to bend over.Mumbling,"These darn weeds",she pulled me up.My body broke off at my waist .Searing pain went down my legs.
After calming down I decided what to do.I'll come back and this time my legs will be much stronger and I'll be much taller.When I'm old enough and strong enough,I'll send my seeds around her yard,and aha,my children well never never,stop growing.
I do feel moved when after reading this ,some may think it no big deal.but I just like it,and you know ,what I'm gonna share with you is not just an article.We can be stronger when we go through those hardship. |
