70-240的考试有效期为2001年12月31日
Windows NT 4.0升级
Windows NT 4.0的3门考试70-73，70-67和70-68将在2000年12月31日退休，1年后，即2001年12月31日，NT 4.0的MCSE将过期
Windows NT 4.0的MCSE必须在2001年12月31日前，完成Windows 2000的考试
对于已经通过了3门NT 4.0考试的MCSE，升级可以考70-240一门，加上从3门Windows 2000可选考试中选一门，一共2门考试
其他
网络知识是Windows 2000的基本要求，所以70-58 Networking Essentials也在2000年12月31日退休。相关的知识将包含在
