"I want romance I want jealousy I want passion in my life" 看着Zoe歇斯底里的在马德里街头露天咖啡馆里冲着Carr大吼，看着这个混乱困扰的美国女人迷失在西班牙男人的“热情”里，是否身处陌生国度陌生语言陌生面孔的漩涡里，我们的感情就容易变得脆弱和迷失？ 这不是《迷失东京》式冷漠背后的疏离与无奈，也不是《广岛之恋》阿伦雷奈的绝望和创伤，只是一个渴望爱情女子寻找自我的简单旅程，童年的阴影、西班牙父亲与美国母亲扑朔迷离的爱情故事......Zoe失去了对爱情和生活的信心，总是在错误的时间地点、在错误的男人身上寻找根本不存在的答案，总是在一次又一次的失望中挣扎。 电影前半段出现的西班牙男子全都充满火热挑逗眼神，仿若斗牛场上情欲高亢的公牛，无论街头还是Pub里满是沉沦欲海的色情男女，马德里变成了光怪陆离的声色犬马之乡，就像是《迷失东京》里的日本街头，情欲与思觉在刹那间失控，到后来才知道原来是Zoe内心对西班牙男子的阴影导致了这种种异像。Spanish Fly并不能修补重燃失调的欲火，它只是心理上的一种寄托与暗示，原来没有灵药可以医治爱情与伤痛，可以调整的，只是自己的心态而已。 ---- Stop all the clocks,cut off the telephone, Prevent the dog from barking with a juicy bone, Silence the pianos and with muffled drum, Bring out the coffin,let the mourners come.
