| 《cat》，改编自t.s—艾略特的十四行儿童诗歌，改编者韦伯的父亲是伦敦音乐学院的校长，使韦伯能从小得到最好的音乐教育，其鼎盛时期是前无古人的同时有三部音乐剧在百老汇上演，三部在伦敦上演，而《猫》剧经过23年在全球250个城市的演出，现已是世界四大音乐剧之一，其中三十八只猫各有其生命的精彩之处，而每年一度的jellicle聚会，会从中挑选出一只获得重生的机会，其实，作者想表达的重生并非将生命结束之后再来一次，这一点在魅力猫最后一幕的精彩唱段中得以表现，我就不在此赘述，而魅力猫的唱段，则是著名的《memory》（记忆），这首歌，一定能杀死或拯救楼下许多犹豫小猫……以下内容为《猫》剧两个著名的唱段，分别刻画了魅力猫、剧院猫回忆往日风采、感怀今日境遇的复杂情绪，而最后一段，则是魅力猫从一个为猫群所遗弃、失却昔日光芒的落魄老猫一跃而成为jellicle聚会的宠儿获得重生机会……
中文翻译版本我在一楼放出，同时放出《memory》的下载链接，遗憾的是虽然这首著名的歌曲曾被世界上170位著名歌手演绎过，但在网络上流传的，却没有音乐剧的版本，只能放出一个单曲版让大家略洗耳朵了，最近北京在上演《cat》剧，北京猫有福…… （洁——洁莉洛兰、清——清纯猫洁蜜玛、魅——魅力猫葛莉兹贝拉、剧——剧院猫格斯） 猫儿们争先恐后的表现着自己精彩的生活，突然，脚步蹒跚衣衫褴偻的魅力猫出现，风韵尤存的身段与面容暗示着她昔日的风姿，而右眼下两点黑色的泪滴则向我们展示着她心灵深处的创伤，猫群们四散开来不愿与之接触，偶有一两只和善的小猫也被他人粗鲁的拉开，魅力猫颤抖着嗓音，唱出下面两句： （魅）：you see the corner of her coat is torn and stained with sand and you see the corner of her eye . twist like acrocked pin ……………………………… 猫群欢快的开着晚会，魅力猫站在远处，眼里饱含着泪水与渴望，当猫儿们稍微歇息下来时，葛莉兹贝拉再也忍受不住离群的寂寞，来到场中央，无奈的是，不受欢迎的气氛仍然弥漫在她的身边，甚至洁莉洛兰和洁蜜玛还用她对自己的描述来表示对她的厌恶： （洁）：you see the corner of her coat is torn and stained with sand . （清）：and you see the corner of her eye . twist like acrocked pin . 猫儿们四散而坐、窃窃私语，葛莉兹贝拉希望展示一下自己的风采来重归猫群的怀抱，但是，年老色衰已经成为事实，猫群的不理解也很难转变。她再也展现不出当年轻盈的舞步和阿娜的身姿，甚至走几个猫步都会令自己索然无味，于是，“那时我也美丽……，就让回忆再活一次吧”的《memory》让她伤感满怀： （魅）：midnight not a sound from the pavement has the moon lost her memory she is smiling alone in the lamplight the withered leaves collect at my feet and the wind……begins to moan every street lamp seems to beat a fatalistic warning someone mutters and a street lamp gutters and soon it will be morning memory all alone in the moonlight i can smile at the old days i was beautiful then i remember the time i knew what happiness was let the memory live again 葛莉兹贝拉黯然离开，猫群又恢复了和善亲切的气氛，清纯猫洁蜜玛用欢快的《memory》曲调引出猫群里另一位昔日明星的故事，而众猫的同和，表现出猫群对老猫的尊敬，也暗示着对魅力猫葛莉兹贝拉的不接受其实源自对她的不理解： （清）：moonlight !
