| 今日发现咗四间新店：1）一间是在好时光咖啡厅，文明路242号，鬼佬对他们评价是：Good Time Coffee Shop can't help standing out among the forest of hair salons on Wen Ming Lu, thanks to the very distinguishable violet neon sign on the door. This two-floored café otherwise has a very undistinguished look. In the name of a coffee shop though, milk tea and fresh fruit juice are their real strength. On the plus side though, music is a highlight, pop, jazz, latin during the day and rock n' roll, electronic, hip hop, r & b filling the night. Live band shows are also a staple. Plans are in the offing to promote cartoon culture in the venue.
Daily 11am-2am。 2）表现咖啡，一间好正点的coffee shop我真是好中意果D环境，中山三路广州画院美术城五楼。鬼佬对他们评价是：A museum café cum gallery, is not surprisingly an ambitious project of a graphic designer from Hong Kong. Design is minimalism with a heightened artistic edge. Against its purely white setting with special lighting, stylish furniture of unusual shapes is laid out, all being part of the show. Some people would take kindly to its chairs, in silver, white, black, blue and yellow. Art is in evidence all over the place - contemporary paintings by various artists from Guangzhou and Hong Kong was well as sculptures, some for sale, are displayed to be admired by customers. Pictures are sometimes framed in glass table tops. His collection of graphic design books and magazines, literature and philosophy works is ideal coffee table reads. Onto the coffee, there are 16 kinds, including bailey iced cappuccino, vino cappuccino, espresso. Curry cuisine is on the way. Check out their occasional poetry recitals and other culture events. Overall, an oasis of taste and class. Daily 10am-10pm. 3）棕榈园，天河区体育东路39号首层，体育东封咗路，没有马路汽车的噪音和废气，夜晚露天看着喷水池真是几好FEEL。不过条路始终都要整好的到是会影响他们的环境 。鬼佬话：Cheers Café scores high with its al fresco dining area around a fountain and planted with palm trees. Inside the airy and spacious café, people can look out through the window, ideal for people watching. One thing about Cheers Café is its laborous attempts with bright colours. Hawaii shirted waiters wear pants matching the theme colour of grass green, while waitresses adorn white vests and red tight pants. The playfulness is also evident in its bar stools of varied colours, from orange, green, purple to yellow. Dishes and glass ware are curious American imports, dishing out American food such as U.S. prime rib steak (32OZ) for a steep RMB 248 and U.S. prime rib steak (16OZ) for RMB 128. More accessible set meals at RMB 52 contain thick OX-tail soup, New Ireland sirloin steak with goose liver sauce, fresh fruit pancake and coffee or tea. Fill in a form to get 10% discount card. The first floor is clear-cut into three lengthy corridors with 300 seats. The first corridor sees an orderly line up of compartments, while the second one featuring tall tables coupled with antique looking wood stools. The third one holds all the action, having a bar, a stage taken every night by a three-member jazz band. Like the colourful mural on the first floor, the second floor consisting of 26 VIP rooms is a take of the Royal Palace in Thailand. Picture luxury and exoticness and you are not too far. Well strutted Thai orders include spicy and sour fresh shrimp salad, deep fried chicken fillet in pandanus leaves, fried crab with Thai curry, Tom Yam fish soup, to be accompanied by Thai and Latin music.
