Eduard MAC Dowell (1861-1908). 亚纳切克的歌剧《马克罗普洛斯案件》也在1925年的今天首演。 Eugene Conley (19-1981)与Louis Gottschalk (1829-1869) 则在今天逝世。 备注：Marjorie Lawrence在1935年的今天于美国纽约大都会歌剧院首次登台亮相，出演瓦格纳《众神的黄昏》中的布伦希尔德。尼尔森（Birgit Nilsson）则于1959年的今天在大都会首次亮相，饰演《特里斯坦与伊索尔德》中的伊索尔德。 今日名言： "An imaginative Spanish girl, who was too ill to attend Gottschalk's concerts had a passionate desire to hear him play, and pined away in the fretfulness of ungratified desire.
