Ok. here are something you might not know of. :-)
1: At the beginning of SPEED, there were 7 girls as
candidate. Somehow, they chose out Hiroko Shimabokuno, Eriko
Imai, Takako Uehara, Hitoe Arakaki. Dont know who the other
three girls are or what happened to them now.
2: SPEED didn't have the name when they first time had
appearance on popular TV program "Hit Parade". They asked
the audience for the names that they can choose from. And
Taka chan chose the name "SPEED". And just as the name implies, their popularity rockets up, from a unknown group to one of the most popular groups in Japan. (For all-girls group, they are definitely the most popular one.)
3: As we all know, Eri chan and Hiro chan are singers and hitoe chan and taka chan are dancers. (Note: Hitoe is the
best dancers. And she is my favorite SPEED member too ^^)
However, for the sake of SPEED, their producer decided to
improve them more by training individual member on singing.
So, the next MAX single they will release in 10/28/98 will
consist of 4 songs. (That is why it is called a MAX single)
First: "All My True Love" with four of them singing
Second: "All my true love" Remix
Third: hiro chan's solo (comment: This song was not that
good, the composer must have been falling sleep when he was
working on it.)
Fourth: eri chan with crunch. (comment: this is a great
up-beat song. Eri chan also did a great live performance for
the song in "Music Station")
4: hitoe's idol is usher. :)
