| 由VH1音乐频道、多位音乐记者、评论家和数十位乐坛歌手如Carole King、Britney Spears、Elvis Costello及Roberta Flack等人一块选出的20世纪百大摇滚专辑中，毫无疑问地，票选结果仍由影响本世纪最重要的乐团The Beatles（披头四合唱团）以Revolver拔得头筹，而他们其他三张在60年代推出的专辑Rubber Soul。Abbey Road与Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band也都挤在前10名之内，也是就说Top 10中就有4张是Beatles的专辑！
第二名则是带出西雅图地下另类音乐文化、并掀起Grunge音乐潮流的超级乐团Nirvana（超脱合唱团）的旷世巨作Nevermind，虽然Nirvana已随着主唱Kurt Cobain自杀身亡而消失，但是他们在90年代所引领出来的另类音乐风暴，至今仍反映在许多另类乐团身上！而Nevermind也是少数几张入选为20世纪百大摇滚专辑的90年代出品唱片，其它除了Lauryn Hill的The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill 、U2的Achtung Baby、Jeff Buckly的Grace。Pearl Jam的Ten、Radiohead的OK Computer与Liz Phair的Exile In Guyville之外，大部分都是60到80年代的专辑入选。 以下为百大摇滚专辑的名单： 1.
