Jane just finished her University. Now she’s looking for house. One day she got a letter from Reder’s Digest. It says she win their prize which is a big house. She’s so surprised and happy. She thought she’s so lucky, she got a job week ago and now she got a house. She’s being so lucky after she finished her university.
That night Jane packs all her stuff ready for the next day move into the new house. The next morning she moves to the new house to begin her new life. When she arrived, she can’t believe her own eyes. The house is really big, beautiful and it’s an old style house. There’s a big garden in front of the house. She feels everything is wonderful. One thing she not quite understand, there’s no neighbours around the house.
Then she cross the garden opens the front door. She sees the house is very tidy and clean. As she put the 50kg suitcase into the hallway, she accidentally knocks over a teacup, which was resting, at table. But the cup didn’t break. When Jane tried to pick the cup up, she sees some blood coming thought the cup and the river of blood towards the door. Soon the blood disappeared, like it never happened before. Jane thought, “Maybe I’m too tired.” Then she picks it up and put the cup on the table.
Then everything seems fine. Until Jane want to sleep, she take off the cover of the bed she sees some blood on her bed. “Oh, My God” she cried. Soon she takes out her mobile phone want to make a phone to find some help. But there’s no signal on her phone. And all the lights are began to flash. She tries to run out the room but the door was locked. She sits in the corner of her bedroom with her back to the wall. She stares at her bed. River of blood flows from the sheets to the ground. She stills her head with her hands, closed her eyes and scream. She hopes somebody can hear and rest her from this horrible house. She opens her eyes and sees the puddle of blood slowly expanding towards her. She decided to make her way to the door, carefully avoiding the bloody carpet. She wants to try again.
This time the door was unlocked. She runs out the room as soon as she can. When she runs to the hall she sees a man standing in the hall and asks, “ What happened? Why you are running so…” She didn’t wait for the man finished just lead him run out the house.
When they run to a place, which they feel safe. Jane realise she didn’t know that man’s name. Than she asks what is his name and why he standing in the hall. That guy told her, he called John and he was standing in the hall because she didn’t lock the door and he heard someone scream. Jane tells him there’s some strange things happen and asks him did he know anything about that house? John whispered “ There was a man die in this house. That man swore anybody lived in this house must die. Many years past nobody move into that house and the neighbours were dead by some accidents. Nobody wants to move near this unlucky area. Until you move in.” Jane asks, “ where do you live then?” John replies “ I lived in this house and I’m that man who die in this house.”
Suddenly his face splits open into two halves. The eyeballs dissolved into a lump of blood. Jane tried to run away but it was too late. His hands were through her stomach.
The next morning the police found Jane in her bedroom with a pile of blood on her bed.
