She entered his apartment without knocking the door and told him happily, "Good news! My husband got the VISA!" She was so excited, tears brimming in her eyes. She wanted to share this good news with him first. He was happy, too. However he knew his heart was cut deeply. This news implied that their relationship would end soon. Actually he realized this sad ending earlier when he booked two airline tickets for his wife and his lovely daughter. They would be here in the following day. He was right, of couse. They had to face the finality of it, and perhaps they had already accepted it.
Last two years were just like a dream, a beautiful and unforgettable dream. That dream started with two alone souls. That dream started in one chilly winter evening. That dream started inside this simple apartment. That dream came true when they really needed it. Both left their warm families for a better life with high expectations. But the reality made their hopes dimmed. They cried and cried. They even wanted to go back. It was the time they met each other. It was the time they got together. They both needed help. They did help each other... Their relationship changed gradualy from the friendship to a brand new relationship, far beyond the normal friends. They missed each other. They liked to stay together to wipe out the sadness and aloneness in their feeling world. But they had known clearly what they should do and what shouldn't do. They were seemingly separated by an invisible wall - a moral wall.
"I really want to thank you for helping me last two years!" Her voice came through the fuzz of her own sadness with tears in her eyes. Astonished, he stared at her. His voice seemed explosive, "Why did you say that? You helped me, too!" His voice was husky and his tears flooded out. "Are you ready to pick up your family in the airport tomorrow?" she wanted to change a topic. "Please don't change the topic and stay where we are!" He stepped forward a pace, his eyes grew wide, and his breathing began to be more rapid. He almost screamed, "I ... I love you!" ......
That night she didn't go back to her apartment and stay with him for their final dating, maybe for the beginning of their new life.
