关于《黑客帝国》9碟套装的消息一直是众说纷纭，华纳此次也非常的保密，关于详细花絮内容和上市日期一直守口如瓶。在澳洲4区，某网站率先推出预订。而英国2区近日也流传出一份详细花絮内容清单，里面详细说出了新套装里比起旧版的“新”处在哪。其中更爆出一个令人震惊的猛料：2区版套装比一区还多一张碟，是10碟装。同时它也指出了具体发行日期:12月6日。不知道这会不会成真呢？如果是真的话那一区肯定会比二区提早发行，那可以肯定今年年底最具震撼力的碟就是这个套装了。
可惜，在消息的详细花絮内容里没有看到导演评论音轨，如果是真的话就太让人失望了。同时个人认为发布这个消息的人可能是把最后一段花絮当作是一张碟了，看起来那段花絮怎么也不应该独立成碟。应该还是九碟版才对。
