SoftLock is a ActiveX DLL control that can be used to protect your softwares against piracy and to sell your programs online.

With SoftLock you can lock some parts of your program, create trialware with evaluation periods or demos that can be executed a certain number of times.

SoftLock does what every component should do: hides the complexity and exposes the useful information. On the background, SoftLock encrypts data, save and restore information from the registry, manages evaluation periods, but you don't have to worry about that!

The CryptoLib COM library uses state-of-the-art encryption algorithms such as AES (Rijndael) and TwoFish for symmetric encryption with up to 256-bit keys, and RSA for asymmetric encryption with up to 2,048-bit keys. Three hash algorithms (MD5, SHA, and Tiger) are also included, and CryptoLib can create and verify digital signatures. DB2ASP generates an Active Server Page framework from an Access database. The framework contains Script subroutines to display and validate html forms and update the selected table or query. This won't do everything for you but it will jumpstart your development process by automatically generating tedious code.

The generated asp framework created by the program will display a blank form and data view, you can enter data into the form and write the form data back to the database. The wizard eliminates about 80% of the redundant coding associated with these types of applications. You'll still have to make modifications to the resulting code to fit your specific situations.
