dear lhq,
i agree with u. idioms and colloquilisms are
important in english learing. idioms can't be
interpreted literally. for example:"john doesn't
eat fish" may confuse many readers. colloquilism
is also important. for the purpose of language is
communication. colloquilism is a chief means of
communication.
i am sure you are good at english both special
and daily use.
