21.10.2002, 17:00 Mobile in New York With the launch of the new S55 in New York, Siemens mobile conquers the US market with five new US-specific mobile phones! They come in all ranges from the voice centric A56 to S56! Or the consumer will be tempted with the entertainment rich CT56 and C56, or the pocket computer and phone SX56, or the state of the art tri-band S56 with colour display and attachable camera. This launch marks the beginning of a new aera of Siemens mobile. Peter Zapf, President of mobile phones within the Siemens Information and communication mobile group, states: “There has never been a more exciting time for Siemens mobile. We are intensely proud to launch the S55 – a mobile phone we believe will change the lives of consumers.
